This notice explains how DHC Design Studio handles information on this website.

Who handles your information

DHC Design Studio is the independent practice responsible for the personal information collected through this website. To ask about your information, use the contact form and mark your message “Privacy request”.

When you send a note

The form collects your name, email address, project category and message. It stores your enquiry in DHC’s private Cloudflare database so it can be read and answered. The form does not subscribe you to marketing or publish your message.

The information is used to respond to your request and, where relevant, take steps towards working together. General enquiries are handled on the basis of the practice’s legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact it. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

Storage and security

Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database restricted to the EU. Access to the inbox requires DHC’s authorised sign-in. Website hosting and security processing are provided by Cloudflare, which operates a global network; connection information may be processed outside the UK and EU under its applicable data protection arrangements.

Enquiries are available in the website inbox for 90 days. Expired records are deleted by periodic cleanup triggered by website activity. If the website receives no visits, deletion waits until activity resumes. If a conversation becomes an ongoing project, relevant correspondence may be kept separately for that work and any applicable record-keeping obligations. Cloudflare’s limited recovery backups may retain deleted records for a further period.

Cookies, preferences and abuse prevention

No advertising trackers or optional visitor analytics are installed. The site remembers your motion preference in your browser’s local storage. Essential Cloudflare authentication cookies are used for the private preview and inbox.

To reduce spam, the form uses a short-lived signed token, a hidden bot field and request limits. A daily salted hash of the connecting IP address is used for those limits, expires after two days and is removed by the same activity-triggered cleanup. The original IP address is not stored in the enquiry database. Cloudflare may separately process connection details for hosting and security.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, and raise an objection or request a restriction where applicable. Use the contact form to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The project collection

The collection includes live websites and selected projects in progress. Images show the real project designs, captured from deployed websites or rendered from their original website sources. Private systems, unpublished preview links and personal club information are not exposed here.
